Young singers from Bedfordshire offer a wide-ranging concert programme of operatic highlights. This will include music by Mozart, Mascagni, Sondheim, Sullivan and Jonathan Dove. A showcase for the finest emerging musical talent in our area – free entry with a retiring collection to raise money for Bedfordshire Youth Opera.
PROGRAMME
The contents of the programme will be developed as the annual course progresses. The students meet for a series of workshops during the spring and summer months, during which their individual and ensemble repertoire will be explored. This year’s main project will be Jacques Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, which will be fully staged in Bedford at the end of August 2026.
